Default Gude Performance

I talked to a guy at Gude and they have a head package for $1450 out the door, this includes,

-ported/polished head
-ported intake manifold
-ported TB
-Gude cam
-Gude ECU

Do you guys think it's worth it and what have you heard about Gude and their products? And if anyone actually had a Gude head package, I'd love to hear your impressions.

Thanks,

P.S. I have a 91 Si Hatch
DC Sports 4-2-1 Headers
GReddy SP Cat-Back Exhaust

50/50 on the results of product performance and customer service. On the 7th gen civics they are getting major complaints. The D17 is almost 2 years old, and Gude is not performing well with dyno results on the D17. Other's that have used Gude for other applications have had some problems too, but just hear say, nothing on my own experience.

I never understood why you would pay for a stock head....and i/m and t/b just port and polished.....

Search the net and find a few sites that show how to do it...ive got links if you cant....then go to wal-mart...and get a dremel....and even a dye grinder if you want....and go to work.....

Id look into the cam...ive heard they do have alright cams.....

That is the DSM one and its for a exhuast manifold....I cant seem to find my good one that says what you need and what a good job looks like when done.

This has pics though...I appreciate the other guy posting up links as well.

BTW youll have to go to the porting section...which is at the top...then you can see how they did turbo's.....manifolds....and o2 sensor housings if you so desire.

they make all the stuff to port annnd polish anything , and they have a how to section, i done it all on a D16 P&P the head annnd intake, its amasing how a little coaking of the head will do wonders on performance, a hint dont polish the intake ports leave them a little rough, it will help the fuel attomize better,i also got SA kit from Jegs for $39 annd then i went and bought an electric die grinder from Harbor Freight $49 so all in all i have maybe $100 in the job plus the time to do it.
