Default $5.00 upgrade in 5 mins....

Sorry for not having any pictures but I was looking at the mugen pedals and I saw that they give the driver better grip to the pedals because there is an LIL bit of grip tape on them. So yeasterday I went to an skating store and got some grip tape, and to make an long store short It works alout better.... To me. If anyone what's to try it and tell me what you think go right ahead. Because i'm goin to do autocross this summer and i'm really happy that I did this.

regular skatebaording grip tape wears out and gets slick after a couple months and ruin the bottom of your shoes, unless your planning on changing it out every month or so and shoes then its good. if you get "black magic" brand it has more grip than "jessup" or others

Grip == wear. Just like tires.

it ruins your shoes if youre skating when you constantly move your feet around and all your weight is on it......i dont think it'll do so on pedals. as far it wearing out, its normal everything wears just replace it when necessary.

All I skate is Black Magic, it grips the best. I doubt you need that much grip though, Jessup should be fine. Jessup lasts a bit longer from what I've seen

well if you look at your pedals you can tell they have actually been worn down a lot from constantly slidig and pushinf your feet on them. i know the tread on my pedals are almost smooth now

unless you use them for what they were meant for... more surface area on the gas pedal for heel toe. It actually annoys me to drive my dd sometimes because it doesnt have aftermarket pedals.

I took my aftermarket pedals off, i don't think they're spaced apart enough to have larger pedals down there, i could press all three pedals at one time with one foot. Stock pedals are fine for me.
