Default Opinions needed on boosted b16 set-up

Well, the lack of torque is killing me. I am running first gen b16 in my 4th gen.

Phase I:
I wanted to boost with one of the kits (drag/revhard) or pick up the pieces as I go. My question right now is do I need any ecu upgrades to handle the boost? I guess I will go with an FMU or something with larger injectors for now. I would like to boost around 6-8 psi, am I gonna have any fuel problems? I'd rather not do the afc hack. Stock internals.

Phase II:
I have a spare block I was going to eventually get bored (84mm/honed/resleeved at GE. Low compression pistons, eagle rods. Then I would like to get the zdyne gold for tuning and run 10-15 psi. Upgraded valvetrain, etc.

Does this seem like an ok plan?
TIA

Sounds pretty good, you could get the kit and run it stock (6-8 psi) and save up for your ecu while you build the other motor. You could gain alot of expirence doing it this way. Or, you could just go all out the first time.

tuning is the key to turbo. a good way to run nice and clean is to get an afc but not using the hack and just get it tuned on a dyno using wideband o2. you will be happy.

Yeah I say go for the Hondata , AEM route...Man it will be worth it in the end less headaches and problems...same amount of $$$ for a FMU and AFC ! Might as well do it right...Your stock ECU will not have the fuel maps to keep up for sure.

If you sleeve the block psition/rods etc. and upgraded your axles...Try 20-25-30 psi !

werd, thanks man. That guy ever show up on thursday?

New Question, no one will ever see this probably:

Is there a good oem cam (gsr/itr/ctr) that I can use in my first gen b16 that will provide good power n/a and also be a good cam for when I go turbo?

TIA

Damn I love H-T. That sucks internet ay, I was really pissed because I thought I was going to be really late to meet you. It turned out my computer time was off by about 10 mins, so I was ok. Thanks for the help the guys, I'll pick up some gsr cams. I ran a 15.5 yesterday, so I'm pissed and the turbo project is going into effect real soon. I think I might just go all out and get the hondata to start. After all, it's only money, right?
