Drag racing at HIN, NEDragway 5/9/2009
"Hot Import Nights" is going to run a drag race event at their show at New England Dragway in a couple weeks. There isn't to much detail on their site yet, but a local forum up here listed it as a index competition with a cash purse.Slicks allowed only in the fastest index.
I'm guessing this will be like a NOPI event at night.

They have a poster with race info now. http://www.hotimportnights.com/event...photo_id=12137

I'm looking to have a truck full of people, sounds like fun and I'd like to show support for something like this
If my car was done I'd offer exhibition passes lol I wonder if they have Rado or someone coming out for that?

I suppose i will check this out. It does sound like they are taking HIN in the right direction. Hopefully the turnout is good because ever since the BOTI turnout last year im sure people are skeptical tohold events and to drive up here to race.
I keard them talking about this. Im really excited to see them finally get some involvement in the drag scene. I will see how it all goes at the NH show.
I still have to get more seat time with it..
I wonder how these fields will work.. HR-1320's car will ROAST mine..

Yea technically it's not a tube chassis car lol Just a 3/4 tube, so I'd say show up and rape em!
Jessica, if you're coming up for them would you happen to know if they are having Rado or somebody show up for some passes?

I just got an email with some details.Qualifying starts at 10am so it's going to be a long day. They said to be there at 9am to get tech'd but never really said when the gates open. They aren't even advertising the event starting until 4pm.After looking at the drag race registration form that said "load in" was 12pm to 2pm on Saturday I'm glad I emailed them. The $50 entry fee gets you two wristbands. It's $30 a piece to just get in and walk around, so it's cheaper to race than spectate.
Here's the weather, possible rain by 9PM looks great during the day time.
