hi guys, i just recently picked up a 1994 integra gsr with 153xxx on the clock. the car is Practically stock, just 3 inch intake with k&n filter, dcsports 4to1 header, cat delete and 2.25 exhuast system.
I have driven a few gsr's in the past and really didnt feel like this one. heres the problem, when i'm getting on it i dont think i'm hearing the butterfly open up, also when i shift from 1 to 2 at 8000 rpm, the car seems to bog down for second before it pulls again. Then sometimes shifting from 2 to 3, the car feels like that too.
Correct me if i'm wrong, the gsr's i've drove in the past, vtec normally hits at like 4500-4800 rpm, then the butterfly opens at about 5600-5800 rpm. And when the butterflys open up, it sounds just like vtec too. But my 94 gsr, you can hear vtec but not the butterflys.
My question is are some gsr's like this, where you cant hear the second butterflies open up, or is there something wrong with my intake manifold butterfly's? Any way to test it?
