Hey everyone,
As many '06+ Civic Si owners are aware, when Skunk2 developed its MegaPower header for their vehicles, horsepower was the company’s primary concern. As a result of the race-inspired design, space is at a premium. We recently posted a video of Dr. Charles showing how to stiffen up the front engine mount, which eliminates any clearance issues and actually improves shifter feel at the same time. And not to take anything away from Skunk2 (because I own suspension components from them), but for $900 I would hope to see what overall performance improvements that setup provides over some of the lower-end stuff.

yeah someones gotta show why it costs 2X as much. when i saw the quality fitment with the mugen aero kit and that they have stock mounting positions that holds everything in instead of making new holes in my car that sold me immediately. nothing is showing me that the skunk2 peice of metal is any better than strup

I have no actual proof but I think Skunk2 makes more power than the others, on the fact that there runners are longer. The runners go all of the way to the flange, and after being in a car with a BCRH and one with a DCRH (all other mods identical...even the brand) the BCRH, with longer runners pulls much harder.
hold on a minute. i thought shorter runners make for more higher end power. and longer runners make for more lower end power. at least its like this on the intake side of the motor. it would make sense it does also on the exhaust side.
