i have a 2000 itr. the driver side carpet slides quite a bit when i drive etc etc. what do you all do to keep it in place? anyone drill and bolt it to the floor like some cars have the carpet?

my car has a hook or post in the floor and the carpet has a hole and grommet to sit over it. I would think yours does too?

 

Do your mats have the grommit? You can buy the hook from Acura, it comes with instructions on where to cut the carpet. There is already a slit in it.

 

yeah i dont have that hook and a hook in the carpet. i do have the little spikes on the bottom of the carpet but yeah nada.

the thing slides like crazy when im driving. when i get out of the car, the carpet has slid to the right im assuming by my driving with the pressure of my foot on the carpet.

 

Well at least if my ITR came with it, it will be a part in the ACURA catalog and you should just be able to order it. Simple fix.
