prelude or crx
It really depends on what condition these cars are in...
I'm biased towards the CRX of course, but if the Prelude was in tip-top shape then you might want to go with it. Plus, what year are these cars? You left out a lot of information.

well.. what year prelude and what year crx.. preludes are nice and all but there just isnt that many things you can do to it.. as for the crx there is infinite things you can do to it... it just matters what year of car you get 88-91 crx is a very ideal car for a beginner who wants a fast car and good economy the car is the universal machine.. tons of aftermarket support and pretty much any honda engine can go into it., 88-91 prelude is for a person who likes to spend lots of time and money on upgrading a very sadly ignored car, ignored by i mean pretty much 0 aftermarket support, but its a very sporty and fast car stock.. ive been down the prelude road before and it was a fun time but i didnt have the money to keep putting custom made parts into it because thats the only performance you can get is custom made. the crx is the better choice. dont buy the first gen crx they suck. ^_^ first genners dont kill me plz but its the truth ive had one before and its just sucked the whole time i owned it.
