are the obd1 gsr oil pumps different from the obd2? i know the obd2 b18c/b16/type r are the same. their part number is 15100-P72-A01 and the 94 (mines) is 15100-PR4-A03. will the newer ones fit for mines? did some search but can't seem to find the answer yet.

 

the obd2 pump has the boss for a cfs sensor. the obd1 did not and i think is the same as the jdm unit. as far as i know obd2 pumps work on obd1 but an obd1 pump will not work on obd2.

 

OBD2 pump will work, but you have to cut/modify the lower timing belt cover.

This has been covered many times.
