Hate me or not, 97' #0347 will live.
I don't really care if I am liked or disliked, but I thought putting my 97 ITR together was worth a post. I have purchased the rebuilt, which was needed, motor and tranny.
Perhaps I should be more clear. I parted out my 97 ITR when things got rough. Things were tight financially, ang got a lot worse when my dad got sick. I parted out my ITR, and sold off al that I could to help foot the bill. I got in contact with the two individuals that I sold my motor and transmission to, and purchased them back accordingly. The motor was bored, sleeved, and rebuilt, and the transmission was in good shape.
Many around here hate me. I am okay with that. I just want it to be known that my 97 will not sit in a grave, but will be alive and well driven this summer.
PS- Opie, thanks for your input a while back-- it made a world of difference, and my dad is doing quite well.

It doesn't matter what people think when you do such things to help out your family. Family can't be replaced but car parts can... Good on you for bringing it back to life though. Keen to see pics.

Glad to hear that your Dad is doing well, but you really should clear up any "history" you have with others, not because it matters in regards to you posting, but instead because it's the right thing to do. Maybe you don't care about that, and that's fine, but don't expect anyone to help you with anything until you fix the past.
Again, very glad to hear about your Dad, and I hope he continues to get better, or stays healthy if he's already fully recovered.

Glad to hear another R's being risen from the grave. And as everyone has mentioned above, family comes first. Before cars, before friends, before girlfriends.
Good luck on the rebuild and hope to see pictures! =]
