i guess ill start my build thread 91hf
well i guess its time for me to start my build up.. i traded my 250r for a realy decent 91 crx hf rolling shell. it came with skunk 2 pro s coilovers and blox lower control arms.. integra front and rear disc brakes.. stainless steel brake lines front and rear. zc carbon fiber hood and i belive their da integra seats.. i picked up a ls and cables trans along with motor mounts and shiftlinkage. still debating on what im going to run either ls turbo or ls vtec all motor...

cars still sitting atwork my garage isnt ready to workout of it yet so ill probly start on the car here then move it to the garage when its finished..
heres a picture of the garage from a month ago.. it now has the ceiling finished and the ground is smoothed and leveled.. its a 40x60 pole building with 16ft ceiling

Im jealous of your workshop / garage! if that B16 tranny is still apart you might want to think about putting in a bigger 5th gear if you do alot of freeway driving.. im sure you have seen the threads.. i love my b16 but I feel bad being in mid3 low4 RPMs on the freeway all the time.. Nice start overall!!!
depending if this trans is any good i have a ls trans too i was going to swap the 5th gearset with.. thats only if the b16 is good..

well i cleaned most of the transmission cases.. i should have all the bearing and seals tomarrow to put it back together..

well i got my trans back together today and got my motor torn down..

on the no1 journal has a nice scratch on it.. im taking it to the machine shop tomarrow to see if he fix it
i know you probly cant see it all the good but if you drag your fingernail over it, it gets snagged by it.. other than that motor looks real good

p.s. im looking for p30 pistons and possbly b16 head

well i need a new crank.. machine shop said its going to take alot out of it to get the mains straightened out.. so im looking for a crank now.. i picked up a set of crx si wheels that are in fairly good shape.. except for the 4th one someone painted it black. so i gotta find away to get the paint off with out damaging the clear coat too bad..


im not exactly sure what condition your hood is in, but if your looking for a way to keep that one and really don't like the look of hood pins you could possibly try aero catch pins. pretty much flush mount, alot cleaner than 95% of others out there

well ive gotten some small updates.. ive finally got the car home to the new garage.. i also picked up a b16 head with omni power retainers and valve springs.. hopefully ill have some pistons by the end of the week then i can start puting the motor back together.. still need to get cams and a header.

im dropping the head off thursday to get checked out and cleaned up

the pistons are going to be either pr3 or p30s havent tottally decided yet but yea its going to be a decent street car.. the bumper came with the car its once of those certifits from an aftermarket body shop supplier..
thanks for a compiments.. can i tune on pump gas with p30s or itrs? if i can i will go with them.. i want to be able to hit the street with this car every now and then
no way.. thatll be too much.. and youl have to worry about piston to valve clearances big time..
