Well start simple, check for 12v to the starter solenoid, if there is, take it to the closest auto parts store and have it checked.
There are a number of issues it could be. Bad ground, a hot wire from the battery that is grounded. If you have done nothing recently to the car and your starter is okay, I'd try another key if you have one. If not, it may be a good idea to go ahead and get a spare from honda...just in case. I had this problem once, and the chip had gone bad in my key. Good luck.

Thks! I'm going to check all my grounds!
But I forgot to tell that every time I turn the switch on
There's a green light with a keyfigure that stays flashing!
U think my car has a security system that it's causing this problem?!!!

if the imobi light is flashing its not ready the key and the starter signal is not going to be sent. you will need the the red learn key. the system will not let the starter or pcm work.
it could just be the chip in the key itself. this happened to me. just get a new key, and keep the current one as your spare. it's definitely the immobilizer that comes with all 97+ ludes
either way you need the red "learning" key, which you probably don't have if you got the car used. there's been some discussion on workarounds for this, not sure if anyone was really successful. otherwise you have to get a new immobilizer from honda, which iirc is around $600. but this definitely sounds like your problem.
Thks I've been checking every possible problem in the car!
I think I'm going to buy another key as 1G plushSh said!
One other friend told me the same thing!

I didn't have to have the learner key. I hope you're so lucky.
Thks!
I was looking 4 the key at the dealership, and they told me to get
It in because this cars had a recall for the ignition switch!
Hope they reprogram my security system!
I may get lucky and they may only charge me for the keys!!

I finally bought the immibilizer, the switch and chipped key from another prelude, and was able to unlock the security system! But the weird thing it's that it still won't start!!
Anyone have any ideas?!!

Did you get the red learning key also because you'll need it to rewrite your current ECM to match the new immobilizer control unit. Your current ECM has a different code stored into it and must be rewritten with the Honda PGM tester.
