Default Help me understand....

I need a new set of struts on my car, 95 del sol. The car is lowered on Skunk2 lowering springs, I was interested in getting a decent ride around town. Here is what I know or at least what I think I know, with a lowered car it is suggested that you buy a shorter strut/shock so that you don't bottom out, also a extended top hat is a good choice because of the increase of travel in the strut. With my car being 2.5-2.25 inches lower a normal strut is going to bottoming out more ofter. Now my price range is no more than $300 and after the struts are bought I will be getting the top hats. Off the top of my head Tokico HP (blues), and Skunk2 are the ones that fit the bill with price but the Skunks are shorter in length. Help me out H-T!

Cliffs:
Need a new set of struts for the car
$300 max limit
daily driven comfort in mind
car is lowered on skunk2 springs
