Whats typical CLR (Center Line Radius) for exhaust piping on bends?

Hey guys,

About to purchase some piping for an exhaust system im going to make. What is the typical center line radius you guys use for your exhaust systems. The source im ordering from has several different radius's.

I'd use the biggest radius that is suitable for your application. But I'm no expert

Are you talking about 1-1/2" pipe size elbows or larger mandrel bent tube size elbows?

4 in center line is what i would use

4 inches is what i was thinking as well.

It really depends on the size of tube. 1" tube will likely be bent with a smaller CLR than 5" tube...

I agree with the guy that said get the widest that fits your application since it will flow better.
