unknown electrical component, pic included
Hey guys,
I have a '97 GSR and I have an electrical component/module that I can't identify. I've checked both a '94 service manual, and a '98 and higher service manual and have found nothing. Maybe it's something that was only on '96 or '97 models, but I don't have the service manual for a '97 so I don't know.
You can see on the picture that it's hanging directly off the bottom of the driver's knee bolster. Right above it (in the same harness wiring) is the green plug that connects to the maintenance reminder module, which is directly behind the right side of the dash itself. First I thought it was the OBD2 diagnostic port (a lot of cars have it there), but it's sitting over on the passenger side where it should be.
Again, I can't find anything about this little doo-dad. Does anyone know? Thanks.

IDENTIFIED – It's the headlight chime. When you take your keys out of the ignition but leave your lights on.
