Im super frustrated does anyone have any good info on how to fix these things? i cant get my hood to latch at all and the hood is lined up right. does the round piece on the cross bar that the spring sits over is that suppose to move i dont know any help would be appreciated!

 

yes there is some wiggle room in the lower latch on the cross bar, im pretty sure thats why it has square holes and a measurement gauge on the top and sides of the hole. i just tightened mine up enough so it would stay put then closed it, push to around if necessary then pop it and tighten everything up

Has it been wrecked hard in the front before or something. I've seen that prob before. Easiest fix is to dremel out the 4 holes securing the t-bar so u can manuever it around a little.

 

I slanted my hood and what I did was put bolts on the latch that is on the hood. Make sure to put them in between the hood and latch. Keep adjusting it until you get it right. If your hood gets stuck and wont pop reach towards the hood from the bottom of the hood and have someone pull the hood popper open. I was panicking when that happened to me but dont, just dont be alone when you do it. i hope it works, let me know what the outcome is.
