Is there anything I should be careful about?
I don't really understand the whole TPMS system, but am I correct to say that it will not be affected by this?

Well see the thing is I'm planning on doing a full wheel and wheel-well cleaning. Living in the Northeast, I got a beach full of sand in my wheelwells right now.
I'm just curious, where is the sensor? I took my tires off the wheel, went and had them powder coated and put new tires on, put them back on my car and no lights went off. Do the R18 models have them? What should I look out for so this sensor doesn’t go off?

EDIT: Look in the FS thread at SKYY SOL. He has a picture of the TPMS on his stock wheels.

#19 is the TPMS assembly...you can see how it attaches to the valve stem here:

naw i had my car in the garage and moved my wheels to the end of my driveway to wash them out in the gutter. my driveway is a good 25 feet or so. and i put my wheels back on with no tpms light. the tpms is water sealed so u dont have to worry about anything
