ok i just had new ac compressor installed


well it will get cool air but not cold like it use to be


and when i get up to 5000 to 7000 RPM the ac pump squeals


i just check to see if ac coolant (R134) was high in sun light no was in spec but i purged some and it coming out gray not green

 

Might the squealing sound actually be coming from the idler pulley?

Did you check the refrigerant pressures on both the low and the high sides with a manifold gauge set in the shade? What were the numbers?

Was the dryer replaced and the system evacuated prior to recharging?

 

you dont need it anyhow. rip it out
