i'm a newbie.......so help me out here. i just recently bought a white ex coupe. i'll post some pics as soon as i can but for now what kind of wheels should i get for it? i'm also considering a paint job. red maybe? i dunno

 

i don't really have a range........i'm just looking. i've considered racing wheels. i'm kinda in the the fast and the furious thing but i don't tell many people on here that cause they laugh at me i'm just a girl with a civic. what can i say?

I got some konig traffics on my hatch, I like em alot and Ive had tons of good comments on them. I had a set of 17" motegi mr7s but they got too big and old quick. Dont get anything bigger than 16's unless you get some advan RG's. They look tight as hell in 17's

...tweak the suspension a bit with springs a shocks*that means to lower it* or ur new wheels will look like poop..if ur looking for the racer look id settle into some black rota slips if not id opt for their silver C8s..then begin to look into a intake and exhaust upgrade..if ur thinking about FI or NOS..theres plenty of threads about them too
as for painting ur car..unless u really hate the color or ur showing signs of rust, id just leave it for now and work on performance..the money can be well used for other things that ll feed ur F&F mystique

 

i think ya should just go ahead and slam 19" RH Z5000's on there i mean ya might have "SOME" rub but it shouldnt be to bad. if your feeling lucky for the 26 inchers

 

paint it chevrolet dark cherry red metallic and put some bronze rota slipstreams on it . girl tuners

This is a mistake I made.

Before choosing a wheel, decide if your going to get bigger brakes.
With aftermarket performance brakes, you can't fit them on 15". Even 16" will be pushing it.

I bought 15" slipstreams only to realize that I wanted to upgrade the brakes to 11.75".

 

I would leave the car the same color. Unless you plan on having the whole car stripped (motor pulled out , windows removed, etc..) Becuase if you dont the og color will show up when people look closely at you'r ride.

As far as rims go that really depends on how much $ you'r willing to spend. If as little as possible go stock 99-00 si's or almost any integ wheel or look into rota wheels and find a design you like. If $ isn't a concern Volk has a really nice line up of wheels to choose from and desmond has light weight racing wheels with a real simple look and of course the imfamous Mugen wheels either mf-8 or mf10l's.

BTW white car with mf10l's looks fawkin sick . Thats what I would want to rock . Good luck

 

umm....just to clear some things up....MOST upgraded brake kits WILL fit with a 16" rim, there are some that will fit with a 15" rim. and if you want to go rediculously(sp) huge then you will need 17" rims.
