well...lets start at the begining

4 months in a garage on jackstands...undergoing surgery...when she finally came to life we had this....and a 15.4 @ 90 mph


some clean up...drag radials...test pipe and we go 15.1 @ 91 mph


got some bling bling rims



oooooo...tint


at about this time i got some zex and ran a 14.5 @ 98 mph on a 55 shot

then we went down....


so now we're looking good...but i'm fed up with this car...i just have problems i can't solve, no matter how many things i try...i have a motor that doesn't belong in this car and dont feel like dealing with it anymore, so come next week I'm probably gonna pick up something new and then i will start to tear it down...

anything and everything will be for sale from it..i'll start a list of what these parts would be

h23a1 tranny...great condition, no grinds (won't ship, but will probably drive to meet you if need be)
dc sports header for 98-02 4 cylinder accord
f22b1 obd1 distributor
f22b1 5 speed ecu
coilovers for 90-97 accord and 92-96 prelude
ebay intake system
auto to manual swap parts will be sold as a package, besides the tranny
f23a1 motor and spare block...still trying to figure out the problem with this so i'm not sure what i will sell it as, i need to determine what's wrong with it...probably end up parting the motor out
possibly zex nitrous system with plugs and msd window switch

then whatever else i have...meaning stock parts...everything off the car will be for sale...

 

dude, let me know on the swap parts, you would save me the hassle of having to goto the junkyard, let me know please.... and on the tranny how much you asking for the conversion parts, and tranny, and ecu?

looks like your ready to hit the rally circuit in this pic. I didn't the rear windows did that in the 4th gens. Why didn't they continue that with the 5th gens? I would have loved to have that (I'm a windows guys - not a/c)... especially with a power open/close function. ****. they added enough weight from the 4th to 5th gen you think they could have snuck that in.

Ever seen an old legend coupe? with the rear side windows that roll down? thats the BOMB!!

rims i can't really sell without anything to put in the place of them, car can't sit on blocks.

love the tranny, its perfect, gearing is tight...but not too tight, fuel cut in 5th is at about 133-135

gas milage? no clue

 

i just didn't seem to have good luck with it...i'm not sure why.

i have been tempted to convert it to OBD2 and use the correct ecu...but i'm just gonna give up on it

btw: i love when people say negative stuff about my car...then i beat them in a race and they shut up real quick...

this car was strictly built for going fast, that was the only intention behind it...going fast on a budget. i'm not one to build a car to look good, just not my thing

 

dont get me worng, going fast is a very important part of building a car. but its not everything.

for example: say u did actually beat me, and was bragging about how ur faster then me. it woulnt bother me one bit. 1. b/c i know my car has more than just speed and 2. 99.9% of the people in the accord forum would rather take my car over urs, even though u are faster, not really! 3. i would much rather have a quick clean car vs a ragged out fast car. thats just me though.

we are all entitled to our own opinions. but dont foret u are not faster than me, so dont try and rub that "im fast and thats all that matters" crap in my face.

anyways, like i said in the other post...i've spent $2500 on the car, the mods, and everything on this car....thats more than your engine cost. This was a project car, it was a track only car until i sold my daily driver then i began driving it every day. So it was built (with my hands by the way...this car has never been to a shop) for the sole purpose of going fast...i dont care what it looks like, thats what makes it so much sweeter, is that its just a total sleeper. I've had people laugh at me when i ask them if they want to race, then when I beat them infront of a nice group of people...the attitude changes a little, its great. I put a lot of wrench time on this car and it was the first car i ever really dug into like this, and it was fun as hell. last week i changed out the block in a day and a half. thats all this car is about, like i said...project car.

now i dont give a **** who would rather drive your car over mine...you've obviously spent a **** load more money than i have, so thats the way it should be but thats cool...my next car will look really good and when i'm done run 11's at more than 130 mph...then we'll discuss who wants to drive what...

and whats this bragging ****? i told you i dont brag...you're the only one bragging here. but your still the one scared to put money on a race.

14.5 man thats fast, speed of light fast. Bwhahahahaaha. i will admit a 14.5 on a f23 is rather impressive though.

my car is clean, fast, and soon to be much faster...and thats what matter to me. man it sucks to be me
