EPS not working. Pay for help?
hey guys, need help, anyone leading to a fix or anyone that helps me fix it ill pay if needed. Please guys, i dont work out enough to drive everyday with no power steering! haha
Just got done relubing my rack using this guide on ephatch, its pretty much a cheap fix that takes about an hour of labor for even a noob like me to do. but encountered another problem when i got done.
http://www.ephatch.com/forum/showthread.php?t=65227

I did the left side first, then the right, but to do the right side i had to unplug the 2 plugs that were in the way(Im guessing the eps plugs????)after I got done, My eps light came on, and no power steering. Could it be the eps fuse being blown because i either unplugged it while the battery was still connected, or would it just be something like resetting the ecu or what? I looked at the fuse and its a yellow 60w fuse that has to be screwed in and out to be removed/put back in.
The fuse didnt look blown to my eyes, but i wasnt really sure what id been looking at as fuses i usually replace look a bit different. Do I have to go to a honda dealer to get a new eps fuse(if its the issue?)
Anyone, please help :"(

Sounds like you need to get your PCM hooked up to HDS to reset the EPS. Pulling battery cable will not reset it like older cars. I have the Honda HIM and HDS software that the dealer uses. Call my shop Monday or email me.
