where does it say it has to be tech, we are in an EF forum right, haha. Well herer is some tech, what are the part numbers for the radiator tie downs that go on each side?

 

Is that a front lip or a splitter?

 

well it says in the ef/crx forum rules that it must be tech related, but anyways its a nice 4 dr! cant help you on the part # though

 

Im bout to do that swap soon.......was it easy or difficult....any troubles yet?

 

Thats a front splitter CF,
The swaps are easy if you get all the right parts to make it easy if you want to cut and weld and solder. I had alot of trouble on the first swap, the first weekend after I swapped it I drove from cali to vegas and back then the next morning the distributor went out, then after I got a new one the bolt that holds on the rotor fell out and went into the gears and it had to be rebuilt. HAHA. Just do yourself a favor and replace everything that needs to be replaced like timing belt, waterpump, belts, spark plugs, wires, rotor, cap, you know everything that should be done. Then you will be soooo much happier when it runs well for a long time. Oh yea the most important thing is to buy the engine from a good place like HMO.

 

that's a state ref right there. you'll get a ticket for the wrapped intake, blue valve cover, blue spark plug covers, headers, blue battery cover. that is why i hate cali

its off of the new Celica's like 02 or whatever a friend ordered it and then sold the car so I tried it out a little cutting and there it is. It was a celica GTS from what he said it was pretty cheap to and it has been on my car for over 2 years now and holding up good.
You see 4DEF sometimes good things come from nonsensical threads so just have fun with it and if you dont like it then just dont post. I know that you are a good contributor on this forum which I believe that there is about 3 of us so dont take it the wrong way, but the more people are talking the better. Sometimes it gives people idea like above with sp33 so just have some fun. These forums turn into **** camps after a while its also why I deleted my previous account and am just now posting on this one.

 

By the was sp33 your 4 door is looking sharp. You just need some good motor work to make it better.

Thanks mate. It's my daily at the moment, and I'm currently studying so i can't do anything too drastic. I need something cheap to run and reliable for the next few years.

 

just get your thread moved to another page and keep going. Id like to know more about how the car was made, more like a build thread.....i hate flaming too but there is always someone who speaks out.
