Where to buy ball joints?
So i finally got the old lower ball joints out of my car and i bought new cheapo ones from some site, put a little pressure on the boot and it all just cracked. So im wondering where i can find some quality ball joints at a fair price? I would like to purchase them online.
Honda joints aren't much more then most aftermarket...like $40 each. I learned the hard way too...bought some of off eBay and they failed within 3 months. Rockauto has a lot of options...I've used Spicer brand, and Moog is good too. Just go for OEM...your time is worth something too! It sucks having to redo them...
i just ordered some online from www.hondapartsunlimited.com try them out .i spent 38.67 for each ball joint for my 95si. Then i spent 25 for shipping 2days to hawaii via fedex. Majestic honda was the same price maybe a few cents cheaper for the ball joints, but the shipping would of killed me. majestic is based out of the east coast, while hondaparts is based out of arizona.
I got my last two sets of ball joints from Rock Auto. I got Moog brands ones. They have a serviceable grease fitting so you can add grease when needed. I have been happy with both sets I installed. I think they run about $30 each.

ok, im gonna look around for the cheapest price, i also contacted the "world suspension" place and they are going to give me a refund for the ball joints which is good. Thanks for the help.
DON'T order from World Suspension...I couldn't remember the name when I said eBay parts...but that is where I got the ones that failed. To get them to replace them, you have to buy new ones and then send back your old ones before they will refund...not worth the labor when you have to do it more than once. They were also a huge pain to get to respond when I said I needed replacement ones.

I had same problem with the cheap ones that I bought, so then I bought the new ones from Auto Partsway they had great selection of OEM and aftermarket parts, but I went with OEM parts and they are great.

these are the only two brands besides oem i would use. moog costs more most of the time and spicer is an oem manf. for the small 3 {american cars} i'm looking to do the same thing and am at a toss up between spicer and oem honda.
would recommend autopartsway.com I am buying parts from them for more then a year now and I never had a problem. I would say don't hesitate if you are buying from them for the first time.

Spammer IP's from Pakistan, hmm... *poof*
FWIW I highly recommend Moog lower ball joints. They're around $55 each, but IMHO the boots on them are superior to the rubber boots used on even OEM ball joints, or any other replacement ball joints.
*edit* Folks if y'all see suspicious user activity like the posts above, please be sure to report the posts so that I'll see the report. I just happened to look in this thread and see these today.

Moog ball joints for the win...I have a complete Moog rebuild on my front suspension and couldn't be happier with quality and price.
