Default Windshield wipers are weak

My windshield wipers are very weak. When driving on the interstate, I can't use them because the wind flips them up and they get stuck up there. Is this a common problem? Would it be the motor that needs changed, or something else?

Do you mean that
a)the wipers stay at the top of the windsheid and don't go down?
or do you mean that
b)they don't touch the glass properly but still move up and down?

a) If your wiper motor is getting the correct voltage, it is on its way out.
b) You can replace the springs on the wiper arms.

Your squirter is entirely separate. It is a small pump that is at the base of your washer fluid reservoir. If it is getting power and not working, replace it.

A. When going above 60 mph they blow to the side after going up, and stay there. They are very weak, and seem loose at that. They touch the windshield fine, just no power in the wiping motion.

Yea, my squirter has never worked. The lines cracked when I opened my hood, so I just yanked them out

I would check the voltage reaching the motor -- if it is correct (sorry, I don't know what that is off hand) it is probably time to replace the motor.
