here is my car. I am buying a silver type-R lip for $50 and couldnt decide on black or white for my lip. If i could get your opinion i would appreciate it.

White. Color match your side skirts too.

 

but its not a dumb question... there is no such thing as a dumb question. but anyway my stock side skirts are black though and you also see black lips on all kind of cars and looks good to me

 

yeah ha thats what i just got done talking about the side skirts being black also.

Black lips aren't technically "painted". The plastic is a black color.

 

yeah man i think thats hwta i might do at least for now because i dont feel like paying to get that painted and my sides painted white and plus i like the black look also and for now its cheaper and still looks good.

I don't care much for color matched moldings. Though it can look nice on the right car/paintjob.

 

Then apparently it's been painted. All the plastic body pieces come unfinished black from the factory, including the whole bumper covers.

if u paint it white u have to paint side skirts white also.

 

paint it the same color. looks so generic to have a lip that doesnt match your car if you have mostly painted parts. you have an ex it looks like..paint the sides and lip. trust me..it will flow much better. if you have a fake type r lip you should have saved your money
