Anyone using those f1 racing clutch flywheel kits from ebay?
How good is this kit, I've seen some people buying them off ebay. I saw a stage 3 with fidanza flywheel, pressure plate and clutch for like 250.00. thats dirt cheap.
god help you if you ever have a problem and need customer service. All sales are final with them, even if their product is proven to be faulty.
the wont hold up if you start making power. my ls on nitrous had 283 to the wheels and it slipped on me.

i have one on my ls setup. it works fine. althou i am not making huge power. feels like a normal clutch. dont worrk about heavy pedal feel. most of the people who say somethnig bad about them are going to be the people who never used them. just make sure you do a proper break in
I just put one in a customers integra with a lsvtec swap. The clutch kit feels good, it has the clamping power like the act HD plate with 6 puck with springs and fidanza flywheel. It's good for a budget build. It gives you time to save for a better one in the future.
exactly its ight for the price im runing one right now .. think when i pull it out imma switch over to the fx300, maybee 400

Last week I was eyeing a setup on ebay but a few things concerned me.
1. Sales are final and to get a refund of sorts would create a pain in the ***.
2. The flywheels they offer are insanely light. It would create hellish problems for me if I were to daily drive my car.
3. The company that produces the clutch has little to no rep with the hodna community (in terms of clutches).
Weigh your options. Dont go cheap on an expensive hobby. If you do then this isnt your hobby. I just went and spent a little over $100 more to get a Exedy clutch and a XACT 12lb flywheel.

dont get it i warn u i had one in a 2001 elantra stage 2 f1 clucth sprayed a 50 shot an the clutch litterly fell apart the quality sucks u get wut u pay for is the truth
dude I bought them about 2 years ago and the clutch lasted me about 2k miles it was horrible. The flywheel lasted till last july when a couple of teeth came off of it. My opinion save your money and go with quality.
Im here to stop all flames on the f-1 clutch!!
first off there a repudable clutch company its not ebay that sells or distributes them! second ive had posts years ago about the f-1 clutch compared to my ACT stg 2 kit and the f-1 stg 2 was just as good and lasted just about the same 2 years on my n.a gsr set up and cost half as much! i was disapointed that i pent over $600 on the act when the $250 f-1 kit was the same. im currently running a f-1 stg 3, fidanza 7lbs combo since last year on a 216 hp n.a gsr and currently on my high comp. jrsc'd gsr tuned at 230 hp 163tq and its still holding stong no slipping! and its in a mfactory race tranny! ( quife lsd, M's 4.9 fd, M's 1st gear.)

Ive seen other threads on other sites, the only people bashing the clutches didn't know what they were talking about and never owned them, they only started having trouble with a stage 2 around 300whp. i was tempted to buy one, but ended up going with the exedy and a fidanza flywheel
My comments come from PERSONAL experience with them. It's not that the product will fail everytime, it's the fact that some get lucky with them working for them and maybe the other 50% don't. It's when you need the CUSTOMER SERVICE (something many on this board seem to forget about when it comes to price) it's not there for you. As I said before, good luck if you have a warranty claim!
says the guy who prob never even used them before...
they actually work pretty well. installed them in lots of cars with no problems and hold great.. depending on what you have.. you can't install the street disc and try to run 400 whp through it.. but the heavy duty with the 6 puck was good for all the all motor cars and some boosted and Bottle cars i put together.
Or you could Just look for who's selling the most expensive product and buy it.. .
it has to be good because its expensive...lol...
I am not a drag guy, I am a auto-x/togue guy. I had a OEM replacement (exedy, clearly stamped execy on the thing) F1 clutch on my 180hp b16, beat the **** out of it for 2 years, and I actually still have it as a 'backup' clutch in case the one I have in my car (dont know what brand it is, just got the car) goes out.
It felt great, held up great, never slipped and I would buy another. In fact, I probably will buy another one for my next engine. I can't speak on their flywheels though. LSD in the tranny, potenza RE-01R or neova AD-07's tires (daily), dupping the clutch and doing about everything I could do to terrorize it...I have nothing but positive things to say about it.
If it would have failed on me, I would have taken my loss and went with another brand. I think I paid like $80 shipped for it.
If you feel you need to spend the money on a ACT clutch to get a ACT clutch...go right ahead. I wouldnt, though.

Have one on my b16. Was making easily 300hp and never had a problem with it. Still running it to this day with a 75 shot. I dont think there quit as low quaility as the turbo kit you can get on ebay, cause that literally fell the *** apart.
who the fu** are you to tell people that cars shouldn't be their hobby. and please tell me how i can get an exedy clutch and XACT 12lb flywheel for a little over $100.
get this combo and call it a day exact one i got u didnt sat wat car u have so i just went off of wat i have...http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/EXEDY...1%7C240%3A1318
