importing 22mm front bar for the 99 Si
As you guys already know the only 22mm front swaybar that fits the 99 Si is the one from the Civic EX.. And we all know that a smaller front bar means less understeer.. The things is you have to change the lower control arm, the fork, bolt and the linkage to convert to the EX setup.. And you might be able to get all the parts from the junk yard for less than $120..
I'm currently dealing with a friend from abroad that can get a 22mm front sway bar that has the same exact attachments as the Si. So this means the only thing you are going to change is the sway bar and the bushings.. Probably the only reason you want to stay away from the EX swap is because the linkage is sandwich by 4 rubber bushings which create a lot of compliance unlike the Si which is a ball joint.. If I can import the swaybar for about $100 give or take a few bucks how many of you will be interested?? This is a genuine honda part... Thank you..
