Ground Cable Help

I have a 00 Si, the ground cable that goes from the tranny to the frame rail sparks every now and then while the car is running, just wanting an opinion if its a bad cable or a short somewhere or something.

is the ground going from the valve cover to the radiator support connected or even there?

car shouldn't run if that ground isn't in place..

Yeah that ground is there, I can't find anything out of place. I also cleaned both ends of the cable and the frame, just to try and get better contact.
