Default D series pistons

I was wondering if d16y8 pistons fit a d16z6. I am buying a set of wiseco pistons for my build. The z6 pistons have a compression of 8:5:1 from wiseco which is slightly lower than the 9:0:1 I had wanted. But the ones for the d16y8 have a ratio of 9:0:1. So my main question will the y8 pistons fit the z6. TIA

I did some more research and found this - http://www.d-series.org/forums/engin...6-pistons.html

I think he is talking stock z6 to y8 stock pistons. I don't see why stock to aftermarket between the z6 and y8 wouldn't work then, correct?
