Where is the track they are going to use? Red River Raceway shut down last fall and then sold. I don't think it's going to be open this year at all.

 

Red River Raceway closed last year but 2weeks ago someone finally bought it. The track will finally open back up in the middle of June this year thank god. The closest to here is 2 hours away and they all suck! RRR is only 30 minutes away and is one of the nicest tracks I have been to.. So maybe they will plan on having IFO here later this year! Help us keep this track open for thoes of you who live close to it!!!!

 

I think when cliff see's that its actually open and all the spec of it being open is gone that he will get a event there. IFO shreveport usually has a huge turnout. I'd love to be able to go and not have to worry about that 4-7 hour drive home.

That's good to hear, it's a really nice track and I hated to see it close although I only got to race on KOTT event there when I moved back here.

 

all they have to do is buy new timing equipment and a few other little things and it's a go for June.. When it is open tell all your friends LOL! We gotta keep alot of people going so it will stay open this time. Just like jeff said, we hate driving elevendy 4 hours to race. Thanks cliff!!

 

The concession stand was vandalized pretty good they said. There is a big race scheduled for june 6th there so it has to be fixed by then.
