Hi,

I have a poblem with my new Civic 2008 EX. My passenger side window does not go up in there place. I need to push the window to the left with my hand to be cleary in there track. I looked over the forum but I found nothing for removing the plastic panel inside the car to see what was the problem. Is there anyone who know how to repair it with a DIY?.

if its an 08 take it back to the dealership and have them repair it under warrantee. there is no reason for you to pull that panel off yourself. they will take care of what needs to be done.

This is good advice. If you pull the panel off yourself, they will know and could claim you were responsible for the broken window. This is what the dealer pulled on me when my door lock stopped working. I had some aftermarket speakers installed prior to the lock breaking. When I took it to the dealer to get the lock fixed, they first tried to refused coverage because "someone else" had removed the panel and been in the door. Eventually they did cover it, but it was a hassle.

 

The problem is that there's no warranty because its a salvage title....need help please!

 

Before you remove the panel, make sure your window locked out isn't depressed on your driver side door.
