i installed my vipper 771 alarm in my 98 integra sedan this week. i have everything hooked up, but the remote start is acting funny. if i have it hooked up up the way the manaul says the remote start feature works, but the key turn start dosent. i happened to swap around the ignition and ignition2 wires and the key turn start work along with the remote start. no my next problem is when the remote start does activate, it cuts off within 3 seconds. and dosent try to restart. i tried doing through all the features. i have the rpm threshold jumper off. the tach wire is on. i tried tach learninbg and voltage signal and nothing seems to work. i dont have a bitwriter so its not easy trying all combiniation

so my main questions are

1 has anyone ever had a prblem with the ignition1 and ignition 2 wires

2 what would cause a remote start then a 3 second cut off.


all other alarm features work perfect. i dont think my 98 integra has a immoblizator. i replaced the iginition and i am using a obd1 ecu.

 

Where did you get the Viper 771XV ?

What does the "shutdown diagnostic" say? 94

 

i brought it at best buy like march 08. i just now installed it for the first time. i know nothnig about the "shut down diagnostic"
