Dynoing tomorrow against DC4-1 header, JDM ITR 4-1 header, stock b16a header and DC 4- open...cut it off to see what it would run. Will have dyno #s up soon.

 

Odd way of building it...I don't like the merge of the 4 pipes...could you get some pics of the inside of the merge to see how it was done?

why don't you just point the header toward the cars in front of you. holy crap...can you even have a bumper on the car? thats way out there

 

i have this same header, and i really like it..although i hade the guy make it so i could run it on the street also. it was made by randy at elite, right?

 

I didnt build it. I didnt even ask for it to be built. I am a turbo guy myself. We came accross this guy who made this one and ask me to see if there was any interest. I will try and get premade pics of the collector.

its a clean header. Going to run it on my car also.

 

Here is the info: 1990 B16a stock with ITR intake manifold, no exhaust.

Stock B16a exhaust manifold:
157.90 whp
104.5 trq

JDM ITR DC sports Replica
160.9 whp
105.8 trq

NA Race Header
164.2 whp
106.9 trq

I actually through in a chipped Pr3 and took it to 8600rpm and the car made 167.5 whp.

All of those other numbers are with a stock Pr3 ecu and OBD0 electronics. I wish I had a better engine to dyno this thing on but this is all we could muster up with a 92+ civic radiator style. This was a 89 crx with a place racing cross member and a stock EG radiator. If anyone with a short radiator is in or can bring their car to Yuba city to let me use thier car to get some good power numbers, please email me. I am looking for decently modified cars. I think these numbers are very impressive for a somewhat stock 12 year old car. Compression on this engine is an amazing 205 across the board.

Exactly! I was hoping to get a B20vtec to run this thing on, but all we could muster up in the short time was this B16a.

Sorry, no go on the clearance of the full radiator. Must have an EG style radiator to clear.

Chassis of the car doesnt really matter....but it is the radiator and fan setup that is the key. A full width radiator is not going to clear with this header....yet alone the the Ac fan.
