b16 head help

Default b16 head help

i am plaining on building a poor mans type r with spray, i bought a fully built b16 head, but it is already tapped for lsvtec, i dont know if i can still use this head for a pmtr or i have to go lsvtec now? which one do u guys think is better??

how about you do some reading and research on here to determine which one is BETTER for you? Define "fully built head".

idk bought it as is. i really just need to knwo if i can use this head to build a pmtr or i cant cause its tapped for lsvtec

There is a plug that goes into a oil passage hole in the head to block it off for a ls vtec since the ls block doesn't feed oil to the head. If the plug is still there simply remove it and you will be fine. Also just plug up the threaded hole where the ls/vtec oil supply line and your good.
