i have a 98 type r and the alternator went out and i dont have the money to buy a new one right now i have a b16 alt but it dosent fit right, my freind has a gsr alt and says it will work but other people say it wont dose anyone know if a gsr or ls alt will fit a type r, any info would be appreciated thanks

 

Whats the part number I have a few alternators laying around, go to the site below and go to the for sale portion and see if they are any you could use.

i think any b-series will or as long as it's an OBD2 alternator 96+ integra. OBD 1 has roung plugs and obd 2 has square plugs. if the gsr has a sqaure plug it should work, check your connector.
