Default B20vtec build; help me choose my components

I plan on building a b20 vtec soon, going for a full motor build for my own piece of mind. I have read up a bit but want to know peoples opinions on cams and pistons, my spec so far will read;

b20z1 block, re-honed if necessary
stock pistons with new hastings rings
Golden eagle b20 conversion kit
Lightened and balanced crank
Arp rod bolts and rods shot peened; new shell bearings
Acl main bearings
some kind of DECENT stage 2 cams (any recommendations?)
Adjustable cam gears
Hondata management
4-1 ebay manifold (for time being as that's what's on my b16 at the moment)
Apexi exhaust system
port job on the head
Some kind of inlet manifold (unless b16 is up to the job)

Ideally looking to get good mid and upper power band so what sort of components am I looking at to achieve this? What sort of compression ratio do I want to be running? (bearing in mind, I'm in uk so upto 100 ron is available at the pumps) Are stock pistons ok to use?(from reading, it would seem so but I dunno about with cams) Is changing to say itr inlet worthwhile in the quest for good upper range or will standard inlet suffice? thanks

Try looking at the FAQ's section, it'll answer most if not all of your questions.

yeah daily driver, I have had a little look at some previous info, was just pondering on the whole idea of cams. didnt know if it was worthwhile on the b20 as it doesn't appear to enjoy revs as much as a b16, likewise, didnt know if it would like compression ratios bumping up or whether to leave the head stock height, we will see, I will read faq's, skunk2 pro's look the best option but if anyone else has helpful advice, then I'm willing to listen

If you want opinions, I would say ditch the stock pistons and e-bay header and get something nice aftermarket. As far as cams, it would depend on what comp. pistons you decide on.

looking like skunk 2 pro 2's/jun spec 2's or 3's (read they were good), compression ratio along 12:1 but will read up more, think about decent mani as well,
