Default 1/4 mile times in my integra gs-r

Well i finally got to the track.
97 gs-r
aem cam gears
rsr axle back exhaust
CAI intake
Type R clutch
Typer R flywheel
16" adr spider wheels on street tires
my times were 16.1,16.2, 16.1
Well first of all i ran at bristol motorspeedway in VA
and the track sucks i red lighted twice because I actually rolled back just a bit! The end of the track is 6 inches higher than the start. Well anyway everybody seems to have cruddy times at his track.
Here is my best time slip...
R/T 1.206
60' 2.62
330 7.03
1/8 10.556
mph 68.82
1000 13.582
1/4 16.127
mph 88.75
If i could get my 60' time down to 2.3 to 2.5 how do you think my time would change?

you should easily be mid to high 15's with more practice. you should be able to get 2.4 stock.

the car should run high 14's...

something's not right...have you tuned the cam gears?

With slicks you could probably run 14's but mid 15's shouldnt be a problem on street tyres with that mph. 6 inches of track rise isnt a lot....How did you red light if you rolled BACK????

Our local track is the same. I put a pin in the handle of the handbrake so I dont have to hold the button in. That way when the light goes green (well actually last yellow) I drop the lever and Im away.

Those are terrible times. I pulled 15.4's at Moroso last weekend in my '99 GS-R with nothing more than a CAI, and this was with ghey 2.4 second 60' times.. you should be PLEANTY quicker than that.

Oh man. You can do MUCH better than that. I pulled a 14.8 with I/H/E only... Practice your Launch and Shifting.

Becareful my friend used to leave the tree w/ one hand like 11/1 oclock on the wheel and he left the light the car fell out of gear . LOL I was laughing so hard when he told me. He's like " I thought I broke everything underneath the car" I say hold one hand on the wheel and one on he shifter....thats what I do

What are you launching at? From the looks of your 60 foot, it looks like your sand bagging out of the hole.

Maybe it's the track. Or maybe you just suck...just messing. That seems slow at the track, but is it fast on the streets?
