Wheel question
Hey people, I dont post here much but i have a question. I am planning on getting some rims for my car, probably 17's. I was wondering what I have to know about the rims, like size and offset. Wat is good for a 5th gen lude? like size wise. Also if i get rims , wat else would i need, like springs and shocks. Im on a low budget so i dont want the works, just something that will be ok to roll on 17's. Any info will help, thanks
I just got rims on my 5th gen. heres some pics

-17"s are a perfect size, you can get tires on them without screwing up your speedo, here a calculator to show you what I mean, play around with it.

-Offsets: the offset on my rims are +45 which again in my opinion are perfect, the wheel sticks out just perfect. any farther like +40 or +35 and you're probably have rubbing issues. Stock wheels have an offset of +50.
Here's a pic to explain offsets.
-Hubcentric rings: You'll most likely need them so heres a discussion on them.
