Icon6 95 civic engine stopping!

Let me break down the build.
95 civic coupe
d16y8 block w/ z6 head and fuel system
8.5:1 low compression pistons - getting ready for turbo
this motor has been completely rebuilt and the machine shop checked everything.
engine has all new parts minus the intake and fuel systems.

car ran great till around 1000 miles after build. after warming the engine and driving for about 15 minutes (65-70mph) the engine will cut out like its missing or starving for fuel. i can floor it and it will only crawl about 5mph (no power - feels like its not firing). it will ocaisionally stop and take off again but if i let off the gas, it dies. afterwords it is hard to start, backfiring, firing out of time, and usually must sit for 10 minutes before starting again. I have changed plugs and they are covered in carbon yet i am not getting any codes or CEL's and i am unsure if this is due to fuel issues. i have replaced the fuel pump and filter and adjusted the idle.... nothings working. with no codes and it only happening when im in the middle of nowhere, i dont know what to do next. i fear a local shop wont be of much help due to so many mods! i am currently swapping the IACV but any insight would be much appreciated.

with no turbo and low compression and no tune your ecu is wrong. your plugs say too rich. put a turbo on it and tune it or dont drive it. check the metal nubs under the dizzy cap (causes hesitant idle and misfire) and make sure they are clean. is it getting hot?

I replaced the cap, rotor, and coil. engine runs normal temp. I ran this setup with lower compression with a d16z6 block with no issues. Is there a way to lean it out with the current setup? i need to break the rings in before i turbo!
