hi names Dara ... new to posting on H-T but been reading on it for a good min...i am stationed in cannon AFB... enlisted in the USAF... i just got me a EK Coupe with a dead clutch basically for a good price... i literally got the car really riced cause it was owned by a chick lol... but i started to order the tail lights asap and spoon rep. side mirrors... next was the lip kits and i lowered it from a friends neuspeed springs that i got for 100 ... i then ordered headlights and 14000k HID's love the color btw... and i then ordered the ctr grill prelica from good ol ebay lol... after all that i wanted the purple bennen tow hook sets so i got them too... yea yea yea it may be dumb but i figure just in case at least itll work good to really tow... and after all that i finally save and ordered me a nice set of bronze 16" gt3's and red lugnuts... i wanted gold but they ran out so i was like F@(K it and got them instead... this is maybe about a month of owning it i did all thats done to it now lol... i basically got it bone stock with altezzas faded Headlights and some sort of funky mirrors and hella butterfly stickers everywhere lol... tell me what yall think about it..


BTW.... these pics were like 2 weeks after i got it...i shoulda took real before pics but wasnt really thinking about it

 

then after i got paid again... i figured i should get new headlights to get them foggy ones outta the pic...< put them on before them first pics...;/> and also got me some 14000k hid's for that purple-pink look... and slammed the whip

also my fogs came in and i put those in as well..

 

then surely enough i got me the other goodies... the JDM tow hook ... si or ctr replica grill and them blingin shoes for the whip... and yeap them cool cool oh so KEWL stickers hehe

i think you need to return your hood to how it was made. I work part time at a bodyshop fixing bodylines that dont line up, seems pointless to me.

Ditch all 45 of those stickers too, actually...keep the shocker then ditch the rest.

tasteful mods, lip kit looks good...i couldnt get my rear lip to fit as well as it looks like your is...please god get rid of those tail lights, other than that looks good...

but i was told that each sticker adds at least 10-50 HP ... being a y8 for now i need extra HP lol... jk i just like stickers... the wakaba leafe on in the front one is a mag. but the others are just too cool to ditch lol... but thanks for the comments...

agreed car is looking better but the stickers are to much...and not sure why the hood rake if ur not in the need for engine clearance then its not a good looking thing....but i have to have my hood the same way on my blk hatch cuz the h2b....

haha yea first thing i ordered when i got the car were taillights and mirrors and sure enough with my luck they came the last so i was rollin with altezzas and super KEWL mirrors... :*) but as for painting em i think i might just keep em oem black look... iono dont wanna spend money on looks right now ... i wanna save up for the nice B series swap...

You don't have an EK. You have an EJ6 or an EJ8 (depending on if it's an EX or not), since that car isn't an EM1.

It appears as though the body is in decent shape, but there's not much out of the ordinary on it.

I'd take off all the stickers at least and paint match the grill/sideskirts/rearlip and then it'd look pretty nice. I'd also take off the rota caps.

 

At least paint the front rear lips man, it looks like an ebay special IMO.

It's interesting to see that JDM has become a "style" composed of cheap replica parts. In theory, there is nothing JDM about this car.
