i used a dremel to cut out the middle part of the bearing so it doesnt hit the preasure plate and that the actuall bearing is riding on the pressure plate. hope that helps.

I would definitely invest the money to get the Tilton Hyd. throw out bearing and flow control valve. If you want to modify the Honda bearing, I would recommend bringing it to a machine shop and have them put it on the lathe. The inner part of the bearing should be shaved down before the contact face of the bearing.

The tilton throwout bearing is one nice looking piece. Some have had great experience and others not. Alot of the Outlaw guys run this setup with a control valve which is the wise thing to do.

The ppl who have had problems do not properly install the unit. YOU HAVE TO RUN A PEDAL STOP.(thats what it says in the instructions)

I have mine but its not completly setup yet.(also cleans up the engine bay quite a bit and theres more clearence.

IMO you spent all the money on a $1400+ clutch why not spend the extra and do it the right way with the Tilton thowout bearing setup

If you bought a Tilton kit, there should be a page in the instructions on how to modify an OEM throwout bearing.

wondering the same would it work with a exedy twin as well?
dont see why it wouldn't unless it wont line up with the pressure plate correctly
