massive vibration
so out of no where today my car started vibrating....no SHAKING. at about 1k - 1500 rpm after a tiny rev my "jdm" air freshener rattles and my b pillar bar is wavy when i look at it from my broadway rewview mirror. i havnt the slighted idea what the problem is. getting up to speed doesnt seem to have a problem because its all minimal vibration from my exhaust. but when i clutch in and slow down it vibrates again at the RPM range.
does anyone have any idea what could be wrong?!?!

could be. but from my naked eye and a flashlight they seem fine. tranny mount too.
also. there isnt a CEL and the engine does not vibrate more then the rest of the car.
**** it could be a mount. or someshit

aftermarket exhaust, if so your exhaust might be hitting the bottom of the car and vibrating, caused my rubber mount coming off the exhaust or something.
Testing FWD motor mounts (manual trans.):
1.) Grab assistant (to watch your engine bay)
2.) Get in vehicle, start engine, pull e-brake as tight as humanly possible
3.) Put vehicle in 1st or reverse
4.) Rev motor up to 2,000rpm
5.) "Dump" the clutch, quickly pushing clutch back to floor as soon as it engages, repeat
6.) Have assistant describe the amount of motor/trans flex
There should be little to no flex.

I found this video of someone doing the motor mount test. I know it is a VW in the video, but it gives you an idea of what it should look like if there is a bad motor mount.
