anyone know what that does on a H22A4?

If you are talking about the fuel vapor cannister #2 I would not mess with it. It is emissions equipment and will trigger a CEL. I removed the one in my Camaro and everytime I would fill up with gas - by the time I got home the gas cap was venting fuel all over my back bumper (because of the pressure caused by the fuel vapors) FTL.

You can vent it out. Your car will smell like a gas station, but if you run a line to the back of the car, the only person who will smell it, is the guy behind you.

So many unnecessary commas......

But on topic, I have my charcoal canister hard line cut to vent near the back wheels and I have never had a problem or smelled any gas. This is on OBD1 though.

I, like, the commas, for I, have, asthma.

My line is vented into the engine bay for now. **** stinks!
