Default drive by wire or throttle cable
is the 2009 civic si drive by wire or throttle cable i just got one and was curious to find out but forgot to ask at the dealer

they are all dbw, honda did not produce the special car for a few select people...welcome to our club of shitty dbw..enjoy!!! there are toys out to help with the crap setup however...

only minor visual differences, engine is the same.

that's a dissapointment. i was hoping to see a complete kit (wiring, tb, etc). all that does is modify the pedal, still gotta figure everything else out.

I just look at it as the first step in a long sequence of expensive and tedious steps.

It's not. Honda's implementation of it in the Si sucks. Haven't heard any complaints from S2000's or NSX's.

get a sprint booster. ive got one and its almost like have a cable again. keep in mind it doesnt make you car any faster just more responsive.

iv heard you can get parts off the earlier K,series accords. they still had throttle cables. i dont know about the pedal though. maybe that's where the toda pedal comes in. and a tune or K-pro
