Hey guys. I am looking for input on some cams for my setup.

83mm gsr/ls bottom end 10:1 compression
1mm over intake valves w/supertech valvetrain
Head is ported and polished type r head
Running a BWs372 with 1.10 ar turbine

My question is what cam can I run??? Please explain your choice of cams as well. Thanks

 

i am using IPG V1 cams, i dont know how they fare against the s2p1 cams but look on evans site to see a comparo of the s2p1 cams against the ctr cams.

since you are 1mm over on 1 valve and not both i think you will be ok. i myself am .5mm over on both mine with the IPG V1s.

 

With do you get specs to degree those cams?

 

the ipg's? james told me that straight up was where he made the best power with them. so i put on a set of stock cam gears and let her eat.

currently we are discontinued on them -- but i have been getting a lot of interest in them lately -- we are thinking of bringing them back -- we will do a product release with Clayton on the sticky in this forum if we do.

 

use skunk2 stage 3s i dynoed 248hp 161ft using them

To the OP. I like the Pro1s. But the IPGs make great power as well. I think you will be happy with either one.

 

I have your cams on the way already man. They should be here next week and you will be good to go. They wont let you down
