Default Cat back question.

My Teg has been down nearly 3 years now and I really don't have any ideah what to buy as far as an exhaust system. If I stay N/A I would more than likely use a long tube header straight into a cat back. I had an Apex N1 but really don't want to go down that road again. What are most of you guys using these days for exhaust? I don't want anything thats sounds like a blasting rice pipe but not dead quiet either. I had in mind maybe the Greddy Evo or Apex W/S. Opinions?

Looks like nobody uses cat backs anymore. Guess I'll save some cash.

Mugen Twin loop or Hytech twin loop. Base tones and no loss of power on most all motor applications.

I've heard more than one person tell me the twin loop sounds awesome. Thanks for the input.

As far as the sound thing goes, I had my ITR SC'd for a while and the Apex N1 screamed like 500 pissed off chainsaws when the boost came on. Just don't want that again. I've heard the WS2 only at an idle but not under high rpm's.

Vibrant flat black 2.5 inch or 3.0 inch chambered muffler. Looks almost stock and flows well. Also Magnaflow oval mufflers work well. Custom piping 2.5/3.0 inch with a large resonator(s) works well and not super loud.

One of my friends has a 92 EG LS/VTEC turbo w/ a 3" custom system and a Magnaflow muffler. Not very loud but it has to be one of the weirdest sounding turbo cars if ever heard. He plans on changing it in the futture.
