will pistons fit rods???
Doing a rebuild very soon and was looking at putting these usdm itr pistons in and wondering if they will fit on the stock gsr rods without any fitment or other issues. Will be getting the .25 over

You're better off getting the pistons and rings from here if you're set on getting oem parts. This dealership is still cheaper than those ripoffs at inlinefour

Does it matter year of itr I get pistons from? Also, should I get the wristpins too?
Thanks again for help!
I just want to make sure everything goes smooth. I've built a motor for the talon that I had and if you know anything about DSMs you'll know that they are a PITA and I dont want to deal with that again. haha

I agree to purchasing elsewhere.
I dont believe theres any difference between the years, I would just go with 01.
The pin should be included w/each piston purchased.
If you notice the drawn box on that dealer diagram includes the piston and the pin together.
And yes its good practice to always use a new wrist pin.

Why dont you just use the rs machine pistons, everyone seems not to have any problems with them. There like 150 or so shipped and come with coated skirts, piston rings, pins, and come in 84mm+.

RS machine pistons are good, they run for around $180 now with rings and wrist pins included. Just make sure you verify that they actually have the parts you want in stock before you pay, otherwise you may run into the problem I had which was having to wait almost a month for pistons I paid for that they supposedly had in stock.
