Default zc timming

Is valve timing on a dohc ZC motor set by lining up the cam gear marks exactly with the upper surface of the head and the single mark on the crank pulley at #1 TDC? Are there any special tricks to setting this?

the marks that are next to each other on the gears should line up with the top of the head - the marks on the opposite sides of the gears will be one tooth above the top of the head - the single mark off to the right of the 3 ignition timing marks on the crank pulley is the TDC mark ('B' in picture) and needs to align with the pointer on the timing belt cover
