Icon2 ITR Badging

So,

I have a USDM ITR. It was vandalized when the previous owner had it and the front and rear 'A's were ripped off and replaced. They were replaced and some minor scratches were touched up. But there were still some ugly gouges in the paint that were somewhat noticeable. After 3 years of ownership, I decided to buy the JDM Honda emblems, since they are slightly wider/bigger and would cover up said gouges. So, I replaced all exterior Acura related badges (front, rear, centercaps) and plan on getting an aftermarket or Honda ITR wheel, etc. to match inside. I personally think its fine, but some people think it is ricey, dumb, whatever... My question is: How do all of you fellow ITR owners feel about Honda badges on an Acura ITR?

I went with, "Yeah its fine, but I wouldn't ever do it." I like my car as stock and as "from the factory" as can be but to each his own, it is a Honda after all so why not Honda badging?

I think that it is fine. The car is a Honda product. Every other badge on the motor, windows, etc. say Honda. When you think about it, it is kinda weird that they would have Acura emblems. Although CDUB has a point which is why I haven't changed mine, simply for resale value, original.

I wouldn't do it if I owned an R but it seems like you have a good reason to do so and it really shouldn't be that big of a deal..

My car is a two time theft recovery, so since it is worthless to everyone else I will do whatever I please. I have rebadged my car with the H badges and the Honda logo.

I personally feel it’s a nice upgrade if and only if you remover the Acura steering wheel. Otherwise I would leave it alone, as previously stated.

I thought of doing it to go along with my JDM front end because that's what it looks like in Japan. BUT..... since I'm not going the full JDM look I'm not sure if I will. I actually don't have a badge on the front and kinda like it that way. But as long as you don't put one of those gay a$$ "R" badges on it, you should do what you like............(Unless you like the "R" badge) then you should kick yourself in the nutz!

It's a rebadged Honda anyways, so why not do it? The car is made by Honda in a Honda plant and is known as a Honda everywhere else in the world besides North America. It also says Honda on all parts of the car as well.

To put it this way, If I where to import a NSX from USA to Norway, the first thing to do would be to get rid of the ugly *** Acura badges and get the real deal on the car. But this is only valid for cars that are available in other markets as a Honda, you also have a lot of Acura models that's only available in USA, putting a Honda badge on one of those would be wrong.

I put Honda badges on my Teggie, and often have to deal with the question, "Why would you put Honda emblems on an Acura?", to which I reply, "You're asking the wrong question- Why would I want Acura emblems on my Honda?"

So I vote "Yeah, it's fine".

Look at all your 'Acura' VIN numbers and you will see that 'Acura' is not a make, Honda is tho.

I vote yes.

Yes, honda owns acura but I noticed most of you here prefer that jdm look anyway, I like usdm. I gave my opinion and didn't ask for stupid commments. In my opinion Honda has always made acura's look better.

I actually very much prefer the USDM front end over JDM. The mentality that you wouldn't swap the badges bc Acura is a higher class Honda is why i commented. The Integra, with the exception of North America, is a honda everywhere else in the world. Sorry, i shouldn't have called you an idiot. Your entitled to an opinion just like everyone else.
