Default Battery protection.. in trunk or under hood

I want to protect my battery as much as I can and can't descide what is more effective. Relocating my Optima to the trunck spare tire well, box it and cover the well with sheet metal and a lock, then use the old battery as a decoy plus protect the hood with a good lock is option 1. Option 2 is fitting the Optima battery in the hood and makeing a really strong custom hood lock and hope that would be enough to protect the siren and air horn etc. Please give me advice. Thanks.

Default Re: Battery protection.. in trunk or under hood (EVIL Teken)

Good idea, but what would be the safer approach of the mentioned above? The decoy battery will be hollowed out and I will put one of the sirens inside pointing down. Hopefully that will create some confusion and give me a few seconds of protection. Any advice or ideas? Am I on a good track? I am also thinking on having a plate attached to the hood and make a lock attached to the steel of the bumper or something. Thanks for your help.
